Research Scientist at Intel Labs, Mahima's current research focus is on RAN disaggregation and network virtualization. Mahima earned her Doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and had been an academician in the past. As Wireless Systems Engineer, she worked on innovative wireless mobile technology at Intel for 5 years. Her focus was on power and performance optimization aspects of 4G/5G smartphone modem. She contributed to Intel Modem Platforms: XMM7480, XMM7560, IBIS18, XMM7660, IBIS19, XMM8160, XMM8260.
She has several research publications in revered journals/conferences and had co-authored a book titled “Mobility Management in LTE Heterogeneous Networks”. She is an ardent nature admirer, an avid traveler and a passionate writer. Mahima is also serving in the capacity of President at Intel TalkMasters Club affiliated by Toastmasters International.
