Spec: Intel® Ethernet Adaptive Virtual Function (Intel® Ethernet AVF)
Introduction: This document describes the hardware interface of a Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) Virtual Function (VF) that is compatible with the AVF driver. It also describes the interface between the AVF driver and a compliant Physical Function (PF) driver used to negotiate the capabilities of the VF driver/ hardware/PF combination. The Intel® Ethernet 700 Series supports an AVF compliant interface.
