Closed-circuit Television Privacy Notice

This privacy notice explains what personal information about you, Intel Corporation ("Intel," "We," or "Our"), collects through the use of Security Cameras and Video Systems, also known as closed-circuit television (“CCTV”) systems, on Intel premises.
- Images and video that might include recognizable faces, activities conducted in the camera frame, corporate logos (e.g., appearing on clothing and vehicles), or license-plate numbers.
Intel Corporate Security uses the CCTV systems for the following purposes:
- To manage access to facilities and secured areas, monitor critical infrastructure, and respond to incidents.
- To ensure the safety and security of individuals (e.g., employees, contingent workers, privileged visitors, guests, vendors, etc.).
- To protect Intel property (including but not limited to intellectual property).
- To support product integrity (e.g., detecting tampering) and loss prevention.
- To review incidents and, where necessary, undertake investigations and/or implement disciplinary procedures.
- To monitor the production processes to protect Intel property and for the purposes of quality control.
Intel Foundry Construction Enterprise uses the CCTV systems for the purposes listed above and the additional following purposes:
- To plan construction activities and worksite configurations.
- To document and evaluate project progress and
- To use in promotional items.
Intel's legal basis for collecting personal information under this policy depends on the relevant jurisdiction and purpose. The legal basis is either legitimate interest, public security, or consent.
Depending on your location, Intel transfers your personal data to local and/or regional hubs (Costa Rica, European Union, India, Malaysia, United States, or Vietnam, as applicable) to monitor site activity for the purposes described above. Data are also transferred to the United States for incidents that warrant investigation. Local users will not access data from other jurisdictions; only an Intel System Administrator with an approved business purpose has authorized access to do so.
Intel may disclose CCTV images or video:
- To law-enforcement authorities when Intel (or its agents) are required by law to make a report regarding the suspected commission of a crime.
- Following a request by law enforcement authorities when a crime or suspected crime has taken place and/or when it is suspected that illegal behavior is taking place on Intel property.
- To individuals (or their representatives), pursuant to a data-access request under data protection law.
- To individuals (or their legal representatives) where Intel is subject to a court order or similar legal obligation.
- In order to obtain legal advice or for the purpose of legal proceedings.
- To Intel’s insurers when they require the data in order to review a claim for damage done to persons or property.
- To certain other bodies/agencies when Intel is requested to do so, and disclosure is consistent with the legitimate interests described herein.
- For construction purposes, it is available to media outlets via the Intel Newsroom.
- For Construction purposes, to construction partners and third-party suppliers to create and review project-progress reports.
For Corporate Security purposes, CCTV images and videos are retained in our video-management system for 31 days by default in all areas except for manufacturing locations (excluding Ireland), which keep the video for 90 days. In some locations, the retention period might be longer or shorter, as stipulated in local contracts or accordance with local, applicable laws.
For Construction purposes, CCTV image and video are retained in our video-management system until 90 days after completion of the relevant, construction project. For footage shared via the Intel Newsroom, the images are retained until the time period indicated in any relevant, signed consent.
Information Security
The CCTV images and video will be stored in a secure, video-management system. The video is held per site and is accessible only by authorized personnel who are appropriate to the issue under review and have appropriate, access permissions.
