Smarter Analysis = Smarter Investments
Monte Carlo* is a statistical computing method with wide application in financial derivatives pricing. This benchmark generates data for about 4 million options (4,063,232). Each option has different values for stock price, strike price, and time to expiration. Volatility and interest rate are held constant. The pricing engine uses Monte Carlo with path length of 256K or (262,144), and price European option spec uses the input data.
Monte Carlo v2.0-IC12.0 benchmark scores (LOWER is better): elapsed solution time in seconds.
